What is a call to action? It's a suggestion or instruction to your audience about what to do next - particularly with regard to marketing.
Why do you need a call to action? While the next step may seem obvious to you, it isn't always obvious to your audience. Your goal is to attract prospects and keep them interested. Make it easy for them by guiding them through your materials and directing them to the items that you think best address their needs and concerns.
Where can you use calls to action? In any communication with clients or prospects:
- On websites
- In emails;
- In your firm brochure;
- At the end of your bill or invoice;
- At the end of an article or blog post;
- In regular correspondence to clients; and
- Even on your business cards.
