How Can You Cultivate Work-Life Balance?

January 21, 2007

I was privileged to attend an event on Friday which featured a presentation by Arnie Herz, author of the blog, Legal Sanity. The only problem I had with Arnie’s presentation was that it was over too soon. Given the format of the event, he had only about 30 minutes for his presentation, and I know he left the entire audience wanting more.

Although I’ve met Arnie before, I hadn’t had the opportunity to see him ‘in action’ until Friday. Part of Arnie’s mission is to help attorneys achieve better balance in their lives. He asserts that lawyers feel depleted due to one of the three components of the “lawyer experience”: tasks, time and relationships. His program focuses on what he calls the “XE factor” (the energy exchange factor). I don’t know an attorney who wouldn’t benefit from a little bit of Arnie’s wisdom.

As luck would have it, Arnie is presenting a 90 minute FREE teleseminar on January 23 at 3 p.m. Eastern on the same topic I saw him speak about on Friday. I would recommend this program to everyone. You can register here: http://www.legalresearchandwritingpro.com/.

One of the great things about Arnie’s presentation is that he doesn’t just dump a bunch of information on you; he makes it interactive, and you learn as much from the other participants as you do from Arnie. I encourage you to check it out.

The program is being sponsored by Legal Research and Writing Pro.
