Are you willing to make the sacrifice it takes to be great?
I‘m getting tired of the excuses – are you?
If you want to be great, it takes hard work and determination. The more excuses you make about why something won’t work for you or why you can’t possibly make a change, the less likely you are to become great.
If you want to take the path of least resistance, chances are you won’t be great.
Being great means sacrifice – you may need to give up time, money and old ideas. You may need to “miss out” on some things in the short term in order to reach your long term goals. You may lose some clients, and if you really want to be great, you may lose some friends who don’t really want you to be successful (or at least not more successful than they are).
You may need to sacrifice being popular – sometimes making a change means you alienate some people, and if you are an early adopter or going against the norm, you may be downright unpopular.
